Success Stories

These photos are of our older daughter holding Briggs and younger daughter holding Annie.  They are wonderful cats.  I hope the siblings find a good home because they are fantastic with kids.

Please meet Blackster and ?? (on the right)....he's just NOT a "Robert". We adopted them today.

Blackster is full of it and loves to play with toys and LEAP out of the litter box, and slide on the wood floors.  He also picks up his mice and carries them.

?? is affectionate, but not a big player, although for only having them a few hours, it's hard to tell. He is, at this moment curled up in Dad’s lap. I've also caught him laughing out loud at Blackster's shenanigans!

They are 10 months and a little over one year old....I never made it to the "kitten" area. Kittens are going like hotcakes right now, and cats...well, not so much. And a puppy was being adopted. It was a VERY busy day at the shelter.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say how much we love “Carmen” our newly adopted dog.  We have had her for several weeks now and she is already fitting in nicely.  She will chase the farm cats if they run but otherwise she will lick them affectionately.  She has become friends with the horses and especially the foal.

Carmen is very smart and learns quickly. She is very loving and we couldn’t ask for a better friend.  I’m so happy to have found her. She loves running around on the farm when I am doing the horse chores in the barn every morning and night.  She always comes running when I call her name.

Thank you for all you do for the animals at the shelter.
